WIAW + roasted veggies + couscous olive bowl

It’s amazing how much one can get in one day, including how much you can eat! 😉 It’s not all bad when 90% of stuff is pretty much veggies in all forms. It’s a glorious life!

Breakfast: 1/2 cup oats + 1 TBSP flax +1 medium banana, 1 tsp crushed plain cashews, splash soy milk + coffee (plus another coffee when I got to work at 06h45). I’m so sad to be missing out on my morning smoothie bowl, but with a thousand kittens there’s no time. For some reason I’m more ravenous after eating oats and stuff than with a smoothie bowl, but it’s probably just all in my brain.

WP_000759Teatime: 1/2 cup steamed pumpkin + small/med granny smith apple + coffee [not pictured] – I was in a rush editing an article for something and forgot my phone in the office. I love editing – you always get to see such interesting topics and really delve deep into obscure states of mind and being.

Lunch: 1/3 – 1/2 cup cooked couscous, 3 olives, roasted zucchini, eggplant and pumpkin + 2 TBSP green beans with a tahini-hoisin drizzle and tomatoes with crushed nuts on top. Yum yum yum! Also, coffee.

WP_000765After lunch I vacuumed the one foster kitten room and sterilized it thoroughly, so the kittens had to chill in their camping cot. Life is tuff! Since these monsters have prevented me from going to the gym for the past few weeks, I count hard labour cleaning after them as exercise these days. kittybasketPre-vet: 1/2 cup green beans + some bits of mixed steamed veggies and saucy vibes.

WP_000768Ag, I have to share the fate of our poor Impi – still stuck at the vet and scratching his nose so fiercely against the bars in frustration. I gave him such cuddles and he meowed the whole way through. Wish we could have taken him home with us! 😥 ❤WP_000750Post-vet: papaya +  cucumber + 1/4 medium avo smoothie + 1 tsp peanut butter + some cashew sprinkles

WP_000767We were supposed to go to the movies today but with all these vet visits it was decided that it was better for everyone’s nerves if we delayed it somewhat and just chilled at home. Spending time together slurping up smoothies, playing computer games, watching Mad Men, and cleaning up after cats is at least something void of people. We don’t count as “people” to each other! :p

Dinner: 1/2 cup cooked soy mince with steamed veggies. We’re out of soup and no time to make more so it’s veggies and more veggies over here. All good, though I do prefer my soup!
